Childish Fans

Adriano Galliani, the Milan vice-president, was left startled this morning after an angry fan launched a barrage of insults at him outside the club's Via Turati headquarters.

According to La Repubblica, a fan allegedly followed Galliani, who was with two security escorts, and started to shout abusive phrases at him. It is said the suspect was furious with the club's directors because they sold Kaka and have so far failed to replace him.

Galliani remained calm and unfazed as he tried to play down the incident.

"It was nothing in particular," Galliani told reporters following the insults he received.

Milan tifosi have behaved like spoilt brats this summer. They protest at training sessions and rant on websites that Berlusconi hasn't spent tens of millions of dollars on a football player this year, how dare he!

Milan fans have also been among the masses that have in the past criticised clubs like Real Madrid, Chelsea and Man City for crazy spending, now they turn on their own club because the club wants to be fiscally responsible.

Grow up guys.
